Who operates Cardspark

Cardspark is an independently operated project based in the United States. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@cardspark.dev.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide when you join the Cardspark mailing list:

  • Your email address
  • The ways you expect to use Cardspark
  • Any optional description you provide about what you are building

Our hosting and infrastructure providers may also process ordinary technical data, such as IP addresses, browser information, request timestamps, and security logs, when you visit the site. Cardspark stores your theme preference in your browser so the site can remember your chosen appearance.

How we use information

We use this information to:

  • Manage the Cardspark mailing list and confirm subscriptions
  • Send product updates, new-kit announcements, and early-access information
  • Understand which Cardspark use cases are most useful to subscribers
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site

Marketing email is sent with your consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any Cardspark email.

EmailOctopus and email activity

Cardspark uses EmailOctopus, operated by Three Hearts Digital Ltd, to store mailing-list information and deliver email. EmailOctopus processes that information on Cardspark's behalf. Emails may include standard open and click tracking so we can understand whether updates are useful. You can avoid this tracking by disabling remote images in your email client and choosing not to follow tracked links.

Sharing and sale

We share personal information only with service providers needed to operate Cardspark, including EmailOctopus and our hosting and infrastructure providers, or when required by law. Cardspark does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention

Mailing-list information is retained while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, a limited suppression record may be retained so we can honor your choice and avoid adding you again by mistake. We may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or resolving disputes. Service providers maintain technical logs according to their own retention schedules.

International processing

Cardspark and its providers may process information in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, and other locations where they operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home jurisdiction.

Your choices and rights

You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Send requests to privacy@cardspark.dev. We may need to verify your email address before completing a request.

Children

Cardspark is intended for product builders and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Cardspark and its services change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the site or mailing list when appropriate.
